The parent company behind Agency:2 and Mighty Social has been acquired by an agency within the Next Fifteen Group.

Market Making Ltd was bought by the company in what the pair say is a deal that will bring together a social media pioneer with a leader in technology-driven marketing.

Market Making opened its doors in 2012. In 2016 and 2017 it was named by Deloitte as the fastest-growing specialist in the UK and EMEA region.

Senior management at Market Making will continue to lead the agencies after the acquisition.

The company was advised by Spark, a mergers and acquisitions specialist working with businesses in the martech and marcomms sectors.

Spark worked with Market Making for two years before the completion of the deal, including overseeing a restructuring of the business.
