UK-based digital marketing agency, Jellyfish, has announced its acquisition of UK-based digital marketing business Latitude from TransUnion (formerly Callcredit).
Latitude, which has offices in Warrington (UK) and Dubai (UAE), will become fully integrated into the Jellyfish group, which employs over 700 people across 18 offices worldwide.
Headed up by director Rick Lamb, Latitude clients include Gladstone Brookes and UAE-based real estate development company Emaar.
As well as giving Jellyfish its first presence in the north of England, the acquisition coincides with the launch of the business’ new office in Dubai.
Lamb will become a regional director of Jellyfish for the north of England, while the Dubai office will be headed up by Shanil Jagatia, who joined Jellyfish as managing director Middle East at the start of 2019.

Jellyfish is a digital partner to some of the world’s leading brands including Uber, Ebay, Disney, Spotify, Nestlé, Ford, Aviva and ASOS, acting either as a consultancy, agency, training or technology partner.
Launched in 2005, it reported a turnover of £93m for the year to the end of March 2018, up from £66.2m the previous year, with gross profit up 31% year on year to £35.5m.
Latitude was acquired by Yorkshire credit reference agency Callcredit back in 2011, a year after it was bought out of administration by its management team.
We reported on at least two restructures at Latitude before Callcredit was acquired by American-based TransUnion for $1.4bn.
It came 13th in the Prolific North Top 50 Digital Agencies ranking published last week – down from fourth last year – with 81 staff and clients including Comfort Insurance, Allclear, Hilton, London and Country Mortgages.
In its latest accounts, for the year to the end of December 2017, it reported revenues of £27.9m, down from £54.5m in 2016, with an operating loss of £1.4m.
The fall in revenue came largely as a result of the loss of its biggest client, Bet365.
