Taxi Media have been providing expertise in advertising on London’s black cabs for nearly 40 years.

They have now announced the appointment of Steve Cadwell to Sales Director, which will see the Out of Home taxi advertising experts expand beyond London to provide opportunities for UK agencies to advertise on taxis across the UK.

Steve joins Taxi Media after 21 years in advertising, 13 of those being in senior positions at familiar OOH industry names such as JCDecaux and Exterion Media.

“I believe in taxis as a highly visible advertising medium,” says Steve. “Since the introduction of taxis on Route in 2016 it has been clear that real coverage can be achieved. Once that is built, the potential to add in PR-able events and fun, dynamic campaigns is endless.”

Taxi Media’s recent investment in taxi tracking means that Steve will be hitting the road with brand new insight.

Agencies who work with Taxi Media will gain access to industry exclusive taxi and audience tracking, as well as the ability to monitor the search and social effects of a campaign to substantiate taxi advertising effectiveness.
