The iconic Dulux dog has officially opened the brand-new Dulux Decorator Centre store and Dulux Academy in Scunthorpe.

To celebrate the launch, the renowned Dulux dog opened the event by giving attendees a chance to snap a shot with the canine-star during their tour around the new store. 

The newly relocated store is much bigger than the previous location allowing customers to browse the range easier, access and parking are also more convenient for customers plus the new purpose-built Dulux Academy training facility offer an opportunity for professional painters and decorators to access face-to-face industry-leading training courses, helping them improve and learn new skills.

Expert training

Dulux Academy will allow professionals from the surrounding area to benefit from the expert training which is delivered by experienced Dulux Academy Skills Development Consultants – providing attendees with knowledge and expertise that gives them a meaningful competitive advantage.The new facilities will offer a full range of Dulux Academy courses from professional application techniques like wallpapering and spraying, to building colour confidence.

Along with greater access to training, local traders and residents will also benefit from a larger Dulux Decorator Centre store with an expanded and improved range of products suited to all decorating needs. 

In 2021, three Dulux Academy@Dulux Decorator Centre locations were opened in Norwich, Altrincham and West Thurrock. With the success of these facilities, the store in Scunthorpe is to be one of several further Dulux Academy@Dulux Decorator Centre partnership locations opening their doors in 2022.
