Demolition works start on-site at much anticipated St Michael’s

Bowmer + Kirkland (B+K) has begun demolition works at the former Bootle Street Police Station, the site of the St Michael’s development in Manchester city centre.

Phase one of the scheme, expected to complete and be ready for occupation in 2024, will deliver 185,000 sq ft of prime Grade A office accommodation across 9 floors, a new public realm and a stunning rooftop restaurant with views across Manchester.

St Michael’s is the first real estate investment in Manchester from leading global investment firm KKR, which formed a JV with Relentless last year to deliver the project.

Gary Neville and the Relentless Developments team were joined on-site this week alongside contractors B+K to celebrate the major milestone.
